This is a great new recipe to try... do you have some lemon balm growing in your herb garden? Awesome! Here is something new to try it with!
What You Will Need:
To make the marinade: Whisk 1/4 cup cold water and cornstarch together in a bowl. Then whisk in remaining ingredients. incorporate well.
In another small bowl mix the chicken and 1/4 of the marinade. Let this stand for 30 minutes.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. add onion, stir fry for about 30 seconds.
Add the marinated chicken to the pan, stir frequently. Cook for about 5 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink on the outside.
Add green beans, & carrots. Cook until crisp.
Add the rest of the marinade to the pan, continue to cook for 3-5 minutes or until the sauce thickens and the chicken is cooked through completely.
Remove from heat, stir in half the lemon balm leaves and all of the sesame seeds. reserve the remaining lemon balm leaves till right before serving.
