So often we read about how generational trauma or energy can carry over into the present life. Be passed down.
Leftover for future generations to burden. It's true. It's real. It’s HEAVY! Some of us are not even aware, and assume it's just ”bad luck”. However, there are ways to release, to let go. To HEAL. We can walk on that healing journey together. I am here to help show you and give you the tools you need to break free from that cycle. Stop holding on and carrying things that don't belong to you! It's heavy, in so many ways- physically, mentally, emotionally & spiritually. Let it go! Do you plans set in place to ensure a healthy and happy next few months? This time of year, can prove to be extremely overwhelming on our bodies, health, and wellbeing. Let’s take a minute to explore some quick tips to be the Best YOU that you can be this winter!
Self-Care Plan: It is top priority to put a self-care plan in place for YOU. Yes, you! Often, we get stuck in the midst of “life” and our busy schedules, taking care of an abundant amount of responsibilities. More often than not, that equates to us tending to our own needs last. When we become drained, and overworked with little to no break, lack proper nutrition, sleep, and ample hydration… we are more inclined to become sick. So, let’s retrain our daily routine to include some simplistic self-care. This way we can be happy, healthy and enjoy all those wintry events that are coming up with friends, family and coworkers! What does Self-Care look like, and how can I include it in my daily routine? Self-care is truly anything we do deliberately in order to take care of our physical, mental & emotional health and wellbeing. That includes anything from packing a healthy well-balanced lunch, to actively moving daily, scheduling a reflexology session, taking vitamins/supplements, daily meditation. When we practice consistent self-care, that often leads to improvements in our mental, physical and emotional health. Some things that we can include in a self-care plan are: · Nutrition: A well balanced diet full of seasonal organic produce, organic meats, quality carbohydrates, fortified dairy {such as fatty fish, egg yoks} and plenty of H2O. · Vitamins/Supplements: You will want to consider revisiting your regimen at least twice a year, {ideally, quarterly} to assess what your body needs based on current health, as well as environmental changes. In the frosty winter months that are filled with less sunshine, we often lack vitamin D. So, a good quality vitamin D can be one essential to look at including. Vitamin C is a wonderful preventative for colds and flu. It also can shorten the duration once you have already been infected. · Activity: Get moving! Whatever sparks your interest and will get you motivated to continue, do that. It can be walking, yoga, running, swimming, weight lifting, boxing, cycling. Anything. Daily activity is so important to optimize and maintain our immune systems, as well as our mental and emotional health. · Sleep: Simple, get a good night’s sleep. That’s easy, right? Well if you are anything like me, that task can often be difficult. However, our bodies are amazingly intelligent and receptive… once we begin to nourish it with proper nutrients, vitamins, minerals and introduce daily movement, it kind of resets itself. You should begin to notice a routine if you listen and are aware of your body, it will tell you what it needs, when it needs it. You will begin to fall asleep quicker, stay asleep longer, and achieve a deeper sleep. · YOU Time: This is where you find something that will allow you to find rest, relaxation, stress relief, perhaps you could try to include some bodywork here, such as reflexology. Reflexology is an amazing way to help your body achieve a state of complete wellbeing. Overall it can help combat specific physical ailments, seasonal ailments such as allergies, as well as provide you with relaxation and stress relief. Staying healthy in these winter months will help you fight off any germs that you come in contact with! There are so many diverse holistic options to stay healthy and I would love to share them with you. We can chat about Holisitc nutrition, vitamins/supplements, herbal wellness, aromatherapy, reflexology, and lots more! Take time to make yourself a priority, if you feel like you don’t know where to begin… that’s ok! Feel free to call me for a free phone consultation and we can begin a wellness journey together. I am also available for educational workshops/lectures. Sinus Pressure have you feeling a bit like an elephant is sitting on your head?!?

This time of year can be so tough for some of us, with the weather changes, seasonal bugs going around, stress! But did you know that you could help combat these ailments naturally?!? Reflexology paired up with some specially blended aromatherapy can be extremely successful in relieving your discomfort! We have so many reflex points located on our scalp, face, ears, feet, hands and chest that can help us in this crazy seasonal crud that so many of us suffer with! We can actually have a shortened session tailored to sinus/allergy/headache ailments, or add them on to a regular session! 🤭🙌🏼🤗💗 I also have some natural herbal combinations that would give you the opportunity to be aware of some alternatives to that daily otc allergy medicine you may be taking! Call/Message me today to chat about it! Reflexology is a science that deals with the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands that correlate to all of the glands, organs, and parts of the body. It is a unique method of using the thumb and fingers on these reflex areas.![]() What are some benefits people have experienced from getting Reflexology?
What Can You Expect to Experience in a Session? While that question may seem like a very simplistic one to answer, it is not. Every person is very unique and has very diverse needs/wants. We all are on a different journey, one that is just our own. So what I may experience in a session, may be nothing like what you experience. However I will say that you can expect to be in a very relaxed state in your body. This happens naturally as you quiet the mind, and allow yourself to just be in the moment. I may help you along by providing some warm eye pillows filled with organic flaxseed and sprayed with some yummy essential oils! The relaxing music that is softly played, and aromatherapy that is going in the room may help a little as well! In my sessions, I try to set an intention with the client prior to you sitting in the chair and getting comfy, I like to express the importance of relaxing and allowing the body to naturally guide us to what it may need at that moment. I am not opposed to anyone telling me any ailments they may want to focus on, {allergies, sore lower back, shoulder, TMJ...etc} and I will be more than happy to do that for you, however, along the way I like to listen to what your feet tell me! I find it so amazing how our feet are like road maps to our entire body! Our toes are just as intricate, especially our great toes! They are like little bodies all in themselves! So many reflex points, so may chances to release built up energy from what your body may be holding on to... could be an old/new injury, an emotional or traumatic event in your life, illness, fear, unexpected change. The list goes on, but you get the point I hope! I am not here to diagnose any illness, or health issue... just to simply help your body naturally help itself. Our glands and organs can be off balance by being overworked, or the complete opposite, it can be underactive. There are reflexes that can be manipulated by using techniques with reflexology that can help normalize the functions of those glands and organs. Our bodies naturally seek balance, and usually respond pretty openly to diverse methods of obtaining that balance! |
