ⓁⓊⓃⒶⓇ ⒺⓃⒺⓇⒼⓎ is cooling and calming, and guides the parasympathetic nervous system, the one responsible for rest and renewal.
ⓂⓄⓄⓃⓁⒾⒼⒽⓉ reveals something important about connection. Just as the shape of the moon and the light it emits in the night’s sky reflects the light of the sun, our minds, when clear and steady, reflect the light of the soul.
Like the moon, we also go through phases; our connection to Spirit may wax and wane depending on our circumstances. But despite how it appears to us, the moon is always full, and so are we.
Regardless of how we may feel, we remain whole and filled with light.
Observing the moon’s phases can be affirming as we pursue growth and transformation here on Earth.
ⓂⓄⓄⓃⓁⒾⒼⒽⓉ is a beautiful reminder to seek out light even when it’s less visible, and to reflect that which is constant and true.

Colors are one of the most beautiful and also one of the most under-appreciated aspects of the physical realm. We are surrounded by colors, but how often do we notice the numerous subtleties in the myriad shades.
Spiritually, color can impart both information – as in aura colors, and energy – as in healing. The aura is the spiritual energy field surrounding living beings which is “visible” to the psychically sensitive.
Use these meanings as a starting point in your own explorations. We are each unique individuals and colors may hold different meanings for us than for others, just as a piece of music inspires different feelings in different people.
Use colors to promote those qualities you wish to emphasize. Use them in your surroundings for qualities you wish to emphasize permanently.
Wear clothes of appropriate colors to promote those qualities in a particular situation. You can also use colors simply by visualizing them, whether to promote their qualities or to exploit their healing energy for yourself or others.
Red symbolizes energy, passion, strength, courage, physical activity, creativity, warmth, and security. It is also associated with aggression. In healing, use red to bring warmth and burn out disease. Red is a powerful color and should be used in moderation. In the aura red signifies materialism, materialistic ambition, a focus on sensual pleasures and a quick temper.
Orange symbolizes the individual’s relationship to the external world, the needs and wants of the physical body and the ways in which these are satisfied, the world of work. In healing orange may increase immunity and sexual energy. In the aura orange signifies thoughtfulness and creativity.
Yellow symbolizes intellect, creativity, happiness and the power of persuasion. It is also associated with cowardice. In healing use yellow to promote clarity of thought. In the aura yellow signifies intellectual development, for either material or spiritual ends.
Green symbolizes money, luck, prosperity, vitality and fertility. It is also associated with envy. Green is the color of healing; it is beneficial in all healing situations. In the aura green signifies balance, peace and often indicates ability as a healer.
Blue is the color of spirituality, intuition, inspiration and inner peace. It is also associated with sadness and depression (the “blues”). In healing blue is used for cooling and calming, both physically and mentally. In the aura blue indicates serenity, contentment and spiritual development.
Indigo is associated with psychic ability. In healing, use indigo for relaxation, reassurance and promoting psychism. In the aura indigo signifies a seeker, often of spiritual truth.
Purple is associated with power, both earthly and spiritual. In healing, purple is used for mental disorders and also for becoming one with Spirit. In the aura purple signifies higher spiritual development.
White is associated with truth, purity, cleansing, healing and protection. It is a good general healing color for the removal of pain and suffering. In the aura it signifies a high level of attainment, a higher level soul incarnate to help others.
Gold represents understanding and luck. Remember though that nothing comes from nothing, It is the most powerful healing color, but so powerful that many are not able to stand it initially and must be conditioned to it via other colors. In the aura it represents service to others.
Pink represents unconditional love, love requiring nothing in return. It is also the color of friendship and conviviality. In the aura it signifies balance between the spiritual and the material.
Brown is the color of the earth and represents practicality, material success, concentration and study. In the aura it indicates “down to earth-ness” and common sense.
Black is the absence of color. It represents the unconscious and mystery. Its visualization can help promote deep meditation. Black also stands for evil (eg black magic). In the aura it signifies some kind of blockage or something being hidden.

S̥ͦu̥ͦm̥ͦm̥ͦe̥ͦr̥ͦ S̥ͦo̥ͦl̥ͦs̥ͦt̥ͦi̥ͦc̥ͦe̥ͦ is a time with powerful energies...
It is the longest day of the year.
The sun and Earth align in a way to assist the growth of all things to come to their fullness.
Today try to set aside some time to focus on themes of fulfillment, enlightenment, abundance, sharing, and the joy of living on this beautiful Earth.
All of this solar power fires up our passions, brighten our lives, and awakens awareness to the abundant potential of life.
Some activities we can enjoy on this day with purpose include:
☀️Have a bonfire or drum circle. Include drums, rattles, dancing and celebrating. Make it into a drum circle if you have a large group of people and inspire one another to move. A drum circle is a great way to entertain people as well as raising energy and relieving stress during the summer solstice.
☀️Go for a hike. Take some time to go to the woods or a park and walk some trails. Experience Pachamama in full bloom and bring offerings (tobacco, dried flowers, sage) to place along the way.
☀️Create a sun mandala. Gather orange, red, and yellow flowers…sticks…stones…leaves and CREATE! Arrange them in circular patterns on the ground as an offering to mother earth. As you do this infuse them with prayers of peace for our planet.
☀️Make a summer solstice tea. Place your favorite tea in a glass container to be brewed in and by the sun. Fill your jar or pitcher with water, place your herbs into the jar and set outside to infuse. Let the magic of the solstice sun infuse your creation and provide you with high vibrational tea.
Happy S̥ͦu̥ͦm̥ͦm̥ͦe̥ͦr̥ͦ S̥ͦo̥ͦl̥ͦs̥ͦt̥ͦi̥ͦc̥ͦe̥ͦ☀️ #lilliansholisticjourney #enjoythejourney #summer #solstice
There have been so many profound things I have been reading the past few days...
Articles, quotes, mantras.
However, this particular one stood out. I may have read it three times, sat down and read it again.
It really makes me think, evaluate and adjust a few things.
How about you? 🤔
I say to my clients, friends, and family all the time that our body will force us to listen and make us stop/slow down if we don't heed the warnings it tries to give us.
I feel like this is the same thing. We all should take some time to really look at ”life” and what that means to us, right here at this moment. In the middle of all of this chaos, all if this despair.
Everyone is faced with a different challenge. (that is always the case) You need to look at YOU and decide:
What you are rushing back to?🤔
What is your normal routine?🤔
Will that change for you?🤔
How will we look back at this moment in history?
Always try to find the good💜😉

Free the mind.
Acknowledge the thoughts, respect them then allow them to flow out of the mind freely.
Don't judge them, hold on to them or give
them too much power.
In these trying times we are so overloaded with mass media, news, so much negativity, fear, panic.
Our minds need a rest💜🤗

It can be easy to become uncentered due to things that occur in our daily lives. This is especially true when the world around us is in utter distress.
When we feel uncentered, we feel as though we’re being spread too thin in many different directions. Our minds can become crowded with thoughts and we can feel anxious or stressed in our bodies.
When left unchecked, prolonged stress can lead to diseases, lowered immunity, tiredness, fatigue, and burnout. Long term stress can also lead to depression, anxiety, and social or communication issues. I have many personal connections that can attribute to the truth behind this. Honest.
Another important point to keep in mind is that how we react to stress determines how stressed we actually feel, as well as our Outlook on life.
For example, two people could be in the exact same stressful situation, but if one has learned to reframe that situation in a positive light—or learned how to react less to it—that person will have a completely different experience then the other.
Regular yoga, pranayama, and meditation practice can help us to combat stress and help us with how we respond to stressful situations.
By quieting the mind and allowing ourselves to be more deeply aware of the present moment, we can start to become more mindful of our emotions, our thoughts, and how we react to stressful situations.
It’s important to take time each day to sit in stillness for a few moments to rediscover the place of centeredness in ourselves. As these trying times present in our world today, it's a good a time as any to practice centering.
As we practice sitting with this place of centering, we often find that we can access our centeredness more easily in times of chaos or stress.
By strengthening our connection to it, we can allow this space of being centered to guide us in every moment. Some other ways we can return to our centers are taking walks daily, being in nature, eating healthy, journaling, yoga, breathwork, or meditation
1. Centering Breath Practice
The simplest way to center in any moment of our lives is through our breath. The best part of this practice is that is easy and we can do it anytime we begin to feel stressed. To practice this centering breath practice, find a pace of breathing that feels good to you. Then, as you inhale, say the words I’m breathing in either out loud or internally. As you exhale, say the words I’m breathing out either out loud or internally. Repeat this up to a minute or longer. If you find that your mind wanders away, just gently bring your awareness back to this centering breath practice.
2. Sitting Grounding Practice
Grounding and feeling rooted helps us get in touch with feelings of stability and support. To practice, begin in a comfortable seated pose, with eyes either closed or open. Begin to center your mind with your breath; breathing deeply. Bring awareness to your sit bones and your connection with the earth beneath you. Observe how firm and supportive it is as you connect to it. Take several breaths in and out as you feel this connection deepening and begin to feel support and stability
3. Counting Breath Practice
Focusing on our breath and breath practices can be a powerful way in which we can turn away from fear and move towards peace. To do this practice, begin in a comfortable seated position. Start off easily with a slow three-count inhale in and a slow three-count exhale out. Then, take a deep breath in for a count of three and hold for a second. After the hold, exhale slowly for a count of three. You can do this for up to a minute, and even extend the count for up to five seconds (five seconds inhaling and five seconds exhaling out, slowly).
4. Standing Grounding Meditation
In times of stress, this simple grounding meditation can allow us to come back to the present moment. To practice, begin standing tall in Mountain (Tadasana) with your legs hip distance apart. Bring awareness to your feet rooting down into the Earth and feel supportive energy rising up from the Earth into your bodies. Engage your core and your leg muscles and feel this energy rising up all the way to the crown of your head. Bring your hands to prayer position at your chest, take several deep breaths, and take a quiet moment to express gratitude and respect to our home, Earth.
5. Calming Peace Prayer Practice
Compassion has a powerful effect on our minds and how we feel. Practicing compassion can take us from feelings of fear to feelings of love and understanding. To practice, begin in Easy pose or a comfortable seated position with your spine upright. Bring your hands to Namaste or Anjali mudra at your heart center. Allow your heart center to open and fill with love and light. Repeat the following peace prayer mantra, either out loud or internally. Imagine that you are directing this mantra to the entire world:
Lokah samastah sukhino bhavantu
This ancient Sanskrit mantra translates to, “may all beings everywhere be happy and free.” Repeat this up to ten times and feel your heart radiating with love and peace for all beings in the world.
I realize that this virus is real.
Do I have personal opinions about what has been unfolding since it has been ”discovered?” Yes.
Do I choose to feed into the frenzy on social media platforms? No.
I am just trying my best to practice patience, calmness, mindfulness.
Be available for those who may need help, answer any questions that friends, family may have.
Because in reality, folks, some of us are walking around with no symptoms and may never really know about it.
Some have similar symptoms that they do when the change of season happens, and may not realize they too could be sick.
My question to all of you is do you realize how critical preventive care is?!?
Do you really understand what that means?!? And it's completely ok if you don't. Message me so we can chat about it because it's essential. (that is why I went to school to learn about it, so I can help people and then maybe they can help people, and so on!)
What is happening in the world right now is why we act on preventative care. This way, when/if the day comes that we are faced with a crisis, we are less susceptible to suffering from it.
AND if by chance we do get sick, all the effort we took and implemented into preventative self-care and wellness will help us overcome and battle stronger.
And most of us will be just fine.
It's so important to know what is going to help fuel your body/mind nutritionally to boost your immune system and keep it strong. That may look different for you than it does for me. And that's ok! As long as you find what's best for you!
We have to begin to rewire what we have been told to be true with our foods, in particular. We can't nourish the body and the mind with processed canned zero nutrients shelf-stable food.
Come chat with me to learn more... It appears many people will have off for a little while... What better time to learn about something than now?!? #lilliansholisticjourney #enjoythejourney #enjoylife #selfcare #wellnessjourney #corona #2020vision
In light of recent events around the world I thought I would share some
Wash your hands as often as you can!
With SOAP & WATER! Hand sanitizer is great in a pinch when you can't use soap and water.
Wash for at least 20-30 seconds, scrubbing every nook and cranny of the hands- like you are getting
ready for a sterile surgical procedure!
Folks, if you are sick please stay home! It's simple! We don't want to have to deal with unexpected illness because someone came around us when they knew they were sick.
Be aware of your surroundings, also be conscious of keeping your hands away from your face! Don't rub the eyes, nose or mouth. Just don't!
Find some peace of mind and disconnect from the events happening in our world right now.
Find a comfy spot to sit, maybe listen to your favorite music, read a book, color, paint, draw, write! Anything that gives your mind a rest from the day to day.
Learning to unleash our inner power could be one of the most life-changing things we could do for ourselves💜👏
Too often, many of us forget the depth of the power that truly lies within us to achieve anything we wish to make.
The truth is that we have within each of us, immense power to do anything and overcome all obstacles💜
Practicing removing doubt and lack of confidence can help us to rediscover the truth of our powerful nature.
The more we can be aware of our power, the more we can allow it to show up in our daily actions.
We can practice this together during an imagery session😉💜
Or you can practice on your own👇
To practice this, sit each day quietly and reflect on this feeling of power within you. As you go about your day, practice carrying this feeling of inner strength with you by affirming that you are powerful and you can do anything you put your mind to💜
Journaling may be ideal here. To check-in with your thoughts, your emotions. So maybe have a journal and favorite writing utensil handy📝
Practice this for one week, several times a day, and then observe how your mindset changes after just one week of practice.
Commit to this mantra practice for at least 21 days total and see how your mindset transforms💜☺️
It's amazing! And so worth the commitment!
If you are a yogi at heart, you can incorporate this short power sequence while practicing this mantra🧘♀️🧘
Begin in Mountain (tadasana). Stand tall with your shoulders down away from your ears and firm your foundation in your feet. Take a full deep energizing breath into your lungs, pause to hold the breath briefly, and then take a long exhale out. Repeat this power breath practice up to five times. After you finish, take a moment to observe how your body and mind feel after standing tall and taking several powerful deep breaths in and out.
Then focus on sequencing asanas that help us get in touch with feelings of inner power. Some power poses to consider are Chair, Warrior 1, Warrior 2, Reverse Warrior, and Extended Side Angle.
You can consider holding these poses for longer periods of time, up to 3-6 breaths.
